Port Macquarie Trail Rides 

1.5 Hour Lesson & Trail Ride

• If you indicate that you are an experienced rider, a riding assessment will take place in the arena before we set out on trail.

We offer small group Escorted Trail Rides. Our Trail Rides are suitable for anyone interested in having a Horse Ride, from complete first time riders including children aged 6 and over through to those with more experience. 

​

We are able to cater to all levels on our rides as we take multiple guides out for each ride so the beginners can safely walk along while those with adequate experience can have the opportunity to split from the less experienced riders at times and go for a trot or canter. 

This relaxed ride meanders throughout the picturesque Cassegrain property and surrounding bush trails. 

 

Before the trail ride, your guide will give you a safety briefing and ensure all riders are capable of controlling their horse independently. Youi will then mount up and enter our enclosed sand arena to learn the basics before setting off on a guided scenic trail ride.

Cassegrain Winery's Cellar door facilities are also on site. 

​

MUST WEAR: LONG PANTS, COVERED SHOES, A SHIRT (not a singlet top). HELMETS ARE SUPPLIED.
